SOMATIC COMPETENCE® yoga
FOR HIGH SCHOOLS
School years represent a critical phase in everyone’s life. Young people, especially adolescents, go through a delicate moment where the transition sometimes happens suddenly, without the space for listening and self-awareness. The dialogue with adults, whether parents or teachers, is often rigid and allows for little exchange. This particular historical moment, marked by Covid-19, has been a unique experience that can have various repercussions on the experiences of young people, both as individuals and within the group.
The opportunity to practice yoga allows students to find a space to step out of daily routines, learning to sense what is happening in their body and to experience relationships with adults and peers starting from what they feel. Yoga, within the Somatic Competence® approach, helps practice listening and self-awareness, allowing them to regulate bodily reactivity even in moments of high stress and tension.
For high school students, we have designed a series of sessions that can be conducted both online and offline, to guide them through difficulties and help them improve their dynamics within the group and in their relationships with parents and teachers.
SOMATIC COMPETENCE® yoga
FOR CHILDREN
Books about emotions are increasingly popular in children's and young adult bookstores, Walt Disney has dedicated an animated film to them, and even newspapers are increasingly reporting on them. What is certain is that children's sensorial experiences play a significant role in their lives, and it is essential to accompany them on this journey of self-discovery.
Practicing yoga from an early age creates a connection between the external world and the internal world. Somatic Competence® Yoga is a real experience, a laboratory where even the youngest children can learn about their bodies and what they feel with the methodology they know best: learning by doing.
Self-awareness, especially if learned during childhood and thus made an integral part of an individual's way of life, lays the foundation for regulating bodily states even in times of tension and discomfort, thus fostering the formation of healthy and conscious relationships within society: from relationships with parents to interactions with classmates, friends, and teachers.
For children and teenagers aged 3 to 12, we offer courses with different methodologies, adapting the proposals based on different needs.

SOMATIC COMPETENCE® yoga
FOR teachers
Teachers work in a highly stressful environment and have a crucial role: providing education to new generations "digitally altered" by a hyper-connected world. At the same time, complex relational dynamics with students, parents, colleagues, and school administrators put a strain on their nervous systems.
Like many companies, schools are also taking steps to provide their employees with various tools to improve their individual well-being and their relationships with students and colleagues.
Yoga with the Somatic Competence® approach helps you find the space to learn to listen to and recognize your body's signals . Becoming self-competent helps regulate your body's reactivity, especially in complex and stressful situations, promoting greater peace of mind when managing your daily work environment.
For teachers, we've developed a series of meetings, both online and offline, to support them through challenges and help them improve their stress management within the classroom and in their relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
